I have managed to solve my problems installing this.........

The problem i was having is because the program was not installed properly - It turns out, you have to rename the folder of the downloaded installation files, as due to the name of the folder having more characters than windows can recognise, it does not install properly - this results in an error message when launching mapsource after installation.

The quick and easy cure is to simply remove the folder named 'GMSCNENT2009' from the stupidly long named folder named 'Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2009 (Mapsource Version) & KeyGen v1.5 - ech0 - www .i****t-forum .com' or simply rename the said file to something much shorter, and then proceed to install the program :-) Problem solved, i hope thats helpful to anyone else that may run into problems.

Please someone help here! Trying to install this on my Kenwood DNX-7200..
Installing from the instructions in the .nfo, I can't find any "unlock wizard" or the like. Installing from the IMG directory simply gives me an install of mapsource with the locked maps on there, how the fudge do I unlock the maps?

Yes, name one mapset GMAPSUPP.IMG and the other GMAPSUP2.IMG
Make sure you have the correct UNL codes in the same files (GMAPSUPP.UNL, GMAPSUP2.UNL) and you can swing between mapsets from options -> my data

GMAPBMAP.IMG is the base map - contains all countries and major roads/motorways. Leave this and your current maps alone.

For Adria maps, rename them to GMAPSUP2.IMG and GMAPSUP2.UNL and copy to E:\Garmin.
You should now be able to swing between maps of Adria and Europe.
