Using this modern unlocker [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] it takes mere seconds to unlock a locked IMG file yourself.

Install pc version and build the img you want to load to gps with Mapinstall.
Take a look at Tutorials Index.

    Hi guys,

Firstly, thanks a lot for continuous updates!

I wanted to ask about JCV file for Nuvi 50 - D4507090A.jcv
Although I was able to use without any issues D4507080A.jcv with CNMENA 2016.20, the D4507090A.jcv with 2017.10 doesn't work.
I tested it in different areas which I know for sure had junction view displayed.

    Anyone having similar problem?
Or is perhaps the JCV file corrupted?

    Thanks!

D4507090A jcv looks ok, you can see junction pictures with ImgTool
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Try to redownload it again from OP

Seems, I managed to make it working, but with D4509090A.jcv.
This file had to be for Middle East only, but I have Middle East & North Africa 2017.10.
Strange, as for MENA 2016.20 I used D4507080A.jcv successfully, so I was expecting that increase of the number to 7090A should work.

Usually a regional JCV file is a sub-set of the main file and therefore MENA contains the same views for ME plus some for NAf so both should work for you [but D4509090A only in ME of course]. Did you check your downloaded D4507090A file in ImgTool as Caty did?

I checked the file. I was able to open it and see the junction views. But in the Garmin unit it doesn't work.
Not sure, what could be the problem.
I'm OK for now if only ME works without NA, but was curious, if anyone experienced that problem.

Did you remove the earlier D45070x0A.jcv file from device or media card?
