    I got teh Map working for me but cannot get JCV working, Are there any specific steps to activate JCV? Maybe its because the junctions near my place are not loaded in the map.

    It's a big country and a relatively small JCV file so not many views comparatively. Try a simulated route from one large city to another on a major freeway. I believe if you can't see any scrolling thru Mumbai to Delhi along NH 8 then the file's incorrectly placed or unusable by your device [best to tell us which one when posting for help]. See: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], both from the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

    I have been through some JCV tutorials, I will try again. My device is Nuvi 50lm from USA. I am gonna try and replace existing JCV in internal memory.

    @Hercles
    US/EU firmware nuvi 5x use a 212x234 picture size JCV file which is different to the usual 'Western-style' JCV [there are 2 types of that style]. Asian are a third type. Certainly nuvi 52 is sold in India and perhaps it uses the same file type as US/EU 5x devices which in the case of EU maps is the NTU but for other Western is NT maps [US/AU etc] but both JCV files for nuvi xx supplied with those maps are of 'the second kind'. Unless someone else knows for sure you may need to download all the files from the initial post and experiment. More info on JCV types here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [Post #29 by syzygy] quote: "All Asian fw units support the first and second kinds (the third kind is implied)."

    The existing JCV file in it's internal memory will be for it's OEM map which is all or part of NA so will not interfere with any additional JCV file for another area. Best keep your 'unofficial' maps and their JCV files on a microSD rather than in the internal memory.

    Don't torture your device. The nuvi 50lm (US) supports only Raster Junction Views, not SVG Junction Views that are presented in the initial post.
