Actually, i am getting both . At the first i get the maps are not unlocked and then the maps are corrupted.
I am trying to do patch the firmware. Hope it works.

But before that , my maps are still not unlocked. i used the same tool on the link.
Dragged the img file on it and some cmd was running.
Please help me if i am doing something wrong.

Ultimately , i am trying to get these without patching as i don't want the US maps to get any issues due to patching.
    Let me try.

Patching firmware is necessary if you want unlocked maps.
No problem with your NA maps once firmware is patched.

Regarding the India Maps, is that the Max size of JCV (25mb) .
As i could see a very huge size for US, i am just wondering if i have not missed any.

Adding to it, is there any reason why garmin is not showing the upcoming toll information, lanes on the highway.

I gave you the 'heads up' about the relatively tiny JCV file in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Read the last sentence there.

If that info isn't embedded in the map or otherwise as POIs then it won't be shown. Maybe someone local with direct experience using the map can further inform you.

    Dear Neil and flagmax,
    1. I have successfully installed "StreetPilot_216_no_root_sdcard.apk" from this forum on my Android JB 4.1.x device.
    2. I am using Map from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Credit @ tom1807
    3. I have a proper folder structure in my device so Program opens and I am able to see all the Home screen, Search, settings, etc.

But the problem is, I can not see map which is already unlocked (using "gimgunlock-0.03+MapSigPatch") and copied in Garmin\Map\gmapprom.img
It does not show up in Settings--> Map & Vehicle --> my Maps

    Am i missing something?

Or the 2016.20 Maps and not compatible with SP v2.16? If not then which Map to be used for this SP version?

    Please help.
I appreciate and thank you masters!

    Regards
    Dinesh

Perhaps naming gmapprom.img is only supported in internal .System folder and you need to use a different 'anyname' such as CNNT_India_2016.img for use in the Map folder or move your gmapprom to .System. SP V2.16 supports both NT and NTU version maps.

    Dear Neil,
    1. I tried copying .img file to .System folder without changing the name "gmapprom.img".
    2. I tried to rename "gmapprom.img". to "CNNT_India_2016.img" keeping it in Garmin\Map Folder.
    3. Even checked and confirmed Garmin folder path using "path fixer utility" and restarted the device after a fresh installation...

    But no luck.
Still no maps is active and visible.

There is something else which is the root cause.

Requesting other masters and you to please help me fix this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Dinesh

    UPDATE:

    Thanks to catymag.
His link to apk (v2.2 )resolved my issue after fixing the map path.

If you're sure you've correctly unlocked the map img [check it in GMapTool for errors and not locked] and you find that other unlocked maps are also not seen then it's not the map [download a small one from the index to check]. If it also doesn't work then the problem is with the SP installation so please post in that section for help as it'll get more targeted help there.
