    Hi,

Due to can't see 3D effect in SP, so i copy previous version of "gmap3d.img" (2011) into Garmin folder but still not working!

I checked all the map Zip packages in this thread but none of them include latest "gmap3d.img" file,
there all provided other contents like SQLite, SID, JCV, ASR , actually what are these file use for?
Do need in SP Garmin folder, if yes, where to put?

    And this one :
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
Content only single file as : map/FSQSGMY.img , any one know the usage of this file?

    Thanks.

To avoid refback, please code all external links as per [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] #13, except download links to reputable file hosting sites. Thank you!

3D Buildings is not map's version dependant, so you can go to this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and download 3158620.zip, unrar it and unlock the gmap3d.img with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (at least I did so to be certain it's OK to use it).

Then download from this thread, 3698190.zip in the first post and unlock the gmapprom.img as above.
I renamed the two files to CN SGP/MAY NT,2011 3D.img and CN SGMY NT 2016.20-Here ALL.img (because I already have CN Europe NTU 2017.10 named as gmapprom.img and gmap3d.img)
Copied them in the ....\Garmin\Map\ folder.

    This is the result

    Odd!
Usually is, but this older gmap3d doesn't contain version FID:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

So you can use it with the new map.

    Gmap3d.im is not a 3D terrain map (not a gmapDEM.img map).
It only has many landmark buidings and monuments in 3D.
Most are around the center of Singapore.
Here is the floor plan (in white) of most of the 3D Landmark-Buildings-Monuments in Singapore (named by Garmin).
As you can see they are only at certain points on the map.
    Spoiler: .
    sg01

Search for a POI named Golden Landmark Shopping Complex and you should see this, if you set it as your Location in simulation (after you zoom in a lot).
    Spoiler: .
    sg03

I can see them in Simulation mode as I simulate a route on Victoria street.

Actually what are these contents using for? Most of the map packages included.
SQLite, SID, ASR , if need, where to save those files ?

    Thanks.
