Many but not all Asian firmware versions for Series 2 nuvi do in fact support JCV display whereas US/EU version don't. However if you are sure there is no mention of JCV in the GarminDevice.xml file then it's not supported. Have you used the unit with JCV previously?

    Thanks for the reply.
I have not seen JCV on the unit at all. No, there's no mention of JCV in the xml file. Is there a firmware upgrade for 200W that would support JCV?

If compatible, you could flash another Asian fw to it, but i've just realised that your device is 200W. I misread at first it as 205W, so sorry.

That's ok. Thanks for the reply just the same. I can't find anyone who has flashed other 200W compatible fw. I should probably refrain from being the first ...in case I brick it.
Unfortunately since it's an old garmin device, there is no lifetime free map update. Garmin Express only said software was up to date; nothing else. I have 2013 map right now. It would be nice to have 2016 map. Do I only need a copy of the gmapsupp.img? I can't be sure.

With a 'vanilla' 200W the map img file is the only thing you need. Backup and remove the ID 2013 map img file and any associated .unl file [there shouldn't be any .gma file, but if there is remove it too]. Safest to put the unlocked 2016.20 on an SD card in Garmin root folder [sd:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img].

    Not only Indonesia.
Taiwan 2016.20 only 3 maps available
    Singapore: 1 map
Philippines, India and Indonesia missing complete.
    Could be the following causes:
    1. Garmin prepares for new downloadlinks
    2. Garmin changes the directory
    3. Somebody at Garmin thought these are useless files and deleted them
    4. any other valid reason

Edit: Most likely point 2 is valid, however, I still need to confirm
