Not D3581180A.jcv, you mean 3531180A.jcv as i told you in Austech so the first '8' is a typo of course, as is D319120A [it's D3191200A.jcv].

A simulated route from centre of New York City to Buffalo is always a dead-set cert to show Junction Views. (Select 'Cities' [or 'Towns'] from the 'Where To?' menu). There's lots of views on that route which will take you thru the Holland Tunnel. Scroll thru the route to see them, you don't have to simulate the drive in full in real time.

Pleased you've sorted it yourself on that anyway. You can maybe add an NA traffic sub, not sure with DriveSmart devices but look in and post in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for that if necessary.

For nüvi 2xxx, use D3191200A.jcv (portrait, full).

How did you download the RAR files? Avoid using Internet Explorer. It is known for its ability to corrupt files during download. Use another browser like Chrome or Firefox.

It does not work. I put the jcv file in SD card under folder x:/Garmin/JCV and I ran route simulation to test it.

Your simulated route may not contain any Junction Views? Not all junctions will be incorporated in the JCV file.

    Newbie here.
I have installed 2017 maps to SD card of my Nuvi 52LM but could do with advise on which JVC file to use that will give me the detailed junction view. At the moment in the simulation mode the small arrows are visible on the top left of screen showing which lane to use, but would really like to have the detailed junctions shown as a 50/ 50 split of the screen. If i select the small arrows this splits the screen but only gives written instruction on the right side of the screen, and not the detailed view. So I believe I'm not using the correct JVC I've tried the jvc lane assist full, jvc split screen and the jvc nuvi 40 50. Without success. Does nuvi52LM support the detailed junction view.
Sorry forgot to add location of files.
I have the North American 2017.20 maps installed on a 4gb SD card. The gmapprom.img file is in a Garmin folder on the Sd card, in same folder I have another folder named JVC in which there is the jvc file.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Rick, welcome to GPSPower.net!

Your nüvi 52LM is capable of displaying Junction View images. Use the D3836160A.jcv file and place it in a folder named \Garmin\JCV on a microSD or inside the hidden folder \.System\JCV inside the internal memory of your device.

The "small arrows" you refer to are called Lane Assist. Not to be confused with Junction View, although I must admit that even Garmin manages to sometimes get these names mixed up.

The Lane Assist feature is embedded in the map but only displayed on compatible devices. The Junction View feature uses an additional file and is also only displayed on compatible devices. A device capable of displaying Lane Assist is not necessarily capable of displaying Junction View. The other way around is more likely to be correct.

    Lane Assist:
