    Is This Unlocked Version ?
    Considering the fact all other maps offered in the same post #7 are unlocked, I am inclined to say 'YES!'.

    Just wonder if CN Europe has a xxHWM.db file for storing data about highway exits. Nuvi with highway guide function, i.e. graphics showing the name of exits and their distances, need this file.

    I suppose this function could be realised in SW for asian market localised devices only. So it is not implemented to Europe map...

    @japseye
    US/EU nuvi 2x5 has no JCV capability at all.

    Can anyone help re-post the UK-Ireland unlock image download link from #7. Apparently the link for download is not working. Thanks in advance.

    Nothing wrong with the link. It's just a bit deceiving which link to click on the download page:

    After clicking the correct link, fill out the captcha en you're good to go. You may find umpteen pop-under windows on your computer. Just close them.
