    Another strange thing, why are all roads duplicated, i.e N 332 on the picture ?

    Edit : POI are correct now, but still this road duplication.
    The yellow 332 is a road from the basemap, it's not a road of TopoLusitania

    @ x-trail
    35100079 is the ONLY tile that has Elevation Spots in meters,
    Yes and not.... The problem is not only that the Elevation Spots are in meters but the number is followed by a space and by the letter "M" (like for the contour lines of all this mapset) . So, some rendering engine (like Mapsource and some GPS units) think that it is a string (and not a number) and display that string as is (regarless to the setting in the Preferences, those settings only affect numbers, not strings..), while other rendering engines ignore the space and the letter and think it is a number , in feet.

    So , in my last version of 35100079.img, I have also corrected the elevation of the spots by deleting the space and the "M" and converting the numbers in feet.
    This solution avoid decompiling and recompiling with GPSMapEdit, which are risky operations....

    As x-trail says, the second road is from the basemap: TopoLusitania is transparent, so the roads of the basemap are also visible.

    @sergio2

    Not in topo lusitania installed on my PC
    yes, the difference comes from the fact that topo Lusitania is installed on BaseCamp/Mapsource on your PC and 35100079.img is read by Basecamp from your GPS unit (or card reader or virtual card).

    A map installed on Basecamp/Mapsource generally has his own basemap: for example, the basemap of TopoLusitania is the file TopoLusiV097.img (you can find it in the install dir of TopoLusitania). This basemap does not have roads so you do not see duplicate roads.

    A map installed on a GPS unit is just a single img file without basemap. So , the GPS unit has its own basemap, used for all the maps (unless you deactivate it).
    So, what happens when you want to use with Basecamp a map installed on the GPS: Basecamp has its own basemap for this case. This basemap is in the folder "Maps" of the install dir of Basecamp , its name is "Global Application Basemap v2.gmap" . It is a worldwide basemap with main roads: so you see duplicate roads when you use 35100079.img in Basecamp from your GPS unit or card reader.

    I think that is no reason to add such a patch to ImgTool.
    Authors of the Topo Lusitania should carefully read the MPC Help and prepare the source shapefiles correctly.

    I think so too ...

    In MPC help (Feature Types/Lines) :
    The label for all contour lines should contain the height or depth of the contour in US feet. The unit software will handle the display of the height or depth in the proper units as selected by the user.
