I didn't want you to be right either [for 2 reasons lol!], but you usually are right dammit! Probably also a bit annoyed most of the time too . But what do you think with MU, will they keep it? I think they will have to service old devices for the reason I said. I'll spin some of this off to a discussion thread if need be .......

While ozboss18 file downloads say Part1, Part2, Part...

Each file is independent and does not require all parts present to be unzipped.

So only need one file? Then only DL one file, apply pass to successfully extract!

    ?

Ok, there's no IMG file this time to download, just a Basecamp GMAP one!

I need an unlocked IMG file for Etrex 20 and Nuvi 50, so does someone have it or is there a way to get the GMAP file to the IMG file???

Jeez Sherms, have you had a brain conniption? Use MapInstall to make a full or part image.

    hello all!

I downloaded "4086_gmapUL.rar" from ozboss's post above, and i moved it to "C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\Maps" . Using Basecamp, I was able to install it into the device (Nuvi 40LM).

I am also able to search by "Address". However, when I select "Points of Interest" -> "Spell Name", it comes out an error message "No Map Data Available", or "No Data Available" when i click on the others like Fuel, Lodging etc.

I chanced upon something similiar in the previous thread for 2016.20 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and although I moved it back as per the step advised after that, I am still unable to search via POI. Do let me know if I should do anything differently.

    Thanks in advance!
