Your GPS search function only works correctly with the NT map versions, not the NTU!

Nuvi 24xx default CNEU map is NTU and it gets NTU map with Express

Catymag say that to the Garmin 'engineers'
I had a similar problem even without any special characters ... with portuguese maps searching for a name with a space was a problem! ex.: "Vila Nova de Gaia" ...not appearing when typing 'Vila' or 'Nova' or 'Gaia'. No other problems with NTU maps. Since then i only use the NT versions

catymag is correct. EU NTU is OEM loaded by Garmin to all EU localised nuvi 2xxx and is offered as 'one-off' map as after-market-sales for other localisations [i.e. it's the 'default' map as said]. For earlier devices such as nuvi 2xxW and nuvi 1xxx the non-unicode NT is the default map. It seem you have both a 200W and a 1340 from these posts: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. If your tests were in them with unicode version you will certainly have errors in search, see these threads: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

    Hi, I need some help
I'm currently using Street Pilot V2.3.7 app on my phone, this map seem to be working properly but the JCV don't.
The JCV I chosen is D3589180A.JCV - Nuvi-3x,4x,5x-Android Street Pilot, according to the description, this JCV suppose to be working on SP, but actually when it come to the junction (and I'm sure there's a juction view at that location) only an empty bar will appear and go all the way up to the top of the screen and disappear, that's it, no picture at all, but when I hit the direction arrow on the up-left side of the screen and do the preview, I can see there's Junction views. Just didn't showup when it's navigating.

Also I tried other JCVs, same problem.
D3048210A.JCV - Lane Assist Portrait Full
D5218060A.JCV - PreProgrammed Lane Assist Template Portrait WVGA JCV for nuvi 6x

Any idea how to solve this and make JCV working on SP?

If you mean links 5 and 6 from the locked original PC install in post #1: they work fine for me.
Avoid using Internet Explorer for downloads. Use Google Chrome or Firefox instead.
To avoid clutter, please don't leave any "Thank You" posts but use the Xlosbkb button or the LIKE this post ↑ link instead
(found at the lower left hand side of any post)
To see hidden download links, use the same LIKE this post ↑ link and hit F5 on the keyboard to refresh the page.
Report broken download links by using the ADYp6au button at the lower left hand corner of that post.
