Can you confirm you use this JCV file in conjunction with the 2016.20 version of the North American map and not any older version? Map and JCV file are a matching set and can not be intermixed with older versions.
Yes i made my 2016.20 with mapinstall, and i used JCV of this thread

For simulation, make your location as New York [city, not address] and route to Buffalo NY. That will take you thru the Holland Tunnel. You'll see lots of JC Views if the file's working. You can also put the .jcv file in an SD card: x:\JCV\D3060190A.JCV.
i'll check tomorrow, its not my gps
and yes for SMokefree, i know for SD location,

it's strange, it still does not work, I made this map (2016.20) with MapInstall, I should repeat the test with a full map IMG shared above, I'll see!
is not my GPS so i have this one for 3 days for trouble shooting!

The command button "lane assist" is never highlighted for each turn of your simulation New York to Buffalo!
And i checking some turn with the arrow button for seeing all turn?

    Its very curious

I checking the manual and they said:

    151114022529783813748992

so i saw this text one other forum for the junction vew!

I think what you are talking about is when you are paging through the maneuver list on the route, if a junction view is available you can see it by pressing the button on the bottom of the screen. in my opinion this button is incorrectly labeled lane assist, but should say junction view.

To get to this touch the top bar on the map screen which will provide a list of maneuvers. Select a maneuver and see the map of that area with a description. On the bottom you will see the lane assist button, which is only lit and active if a junction view exists.

and yes i think this button "lane assist" is normaly named juntion view lol, and i checked all maneuver of the simulation New York to Buffalo, and this &*(?(*&?(*&)*()(- Nuvi 765 button lane assist , never ok? lol

    One other question ,
    • Where you keep your new files Junction View in this thread?,
    • Is it in your personnal JPS with free map LTM ? because is not on DVD map install and Not in SD map of garmin
    • i dont if is exist secret direct link on Garmin internet with all old and new JCV files, If is exist one direct links?
    • oe need take it with garminexpress (so if i had installed 2016.2 patched....hemmm)?

    151114030807783813750014

so i saw this tuto in one of my other forum:
(so i dont if is only for old version)
    Spoiler: JCV

NOTE - Map Update 2015.30 was the last update where Garmin made the Large JCV file available for download using the procedures detailed below. This FAQ will be updated when and if Garmin again makes the large file available for download.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The large JCV name and file location has followed a pretty simple naming convention for a number of updates now so it is easy to establish where to find it. As an example, the large JCV file for the 2015.10 map update can be downloaded from:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
The keys to finding the large file are in 2 fields of the above URL. The first field is the map version number (2015.10 in this case) and the second field is the file name for the large JCV file (the 9 character.JCV name at the end of the link).

To find the large JCV file for the previous 2014.40 map update you would replace 2015_10 with 2014_40 and the file number D3060140A.JCV with the same number except that the 2 digits to the left of the A would be ten numbers less (30A instead of 40A).

If Garmin doesn't change the location and file naming convention in the future, the large JCV file for:

2015.20 - will be found at
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
2015.30 - will be found at
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
2015.40 - will be found at
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
o the key to getting this file is to replace the map update version number with the number that matches the version of the maps you have downloaded and to add 10 to the 2 digits to the left of the A in the file name.

To find the file for a previous map update, again you'd change the map version number and instead of adding 10 to the last 2 digits of the file name you'd need to make the number 10 less, for example:

    2014.40 was
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    2014.30 was
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    2014.20 was
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
As long as you know where to download one large JCV file you can now establish where to get any previous or future version.
    ====================================================================================================================================
so i tryed it for 2016.10 and 2016.20, i dont find file

    is it curious?
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    and
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links

if relevant and functional, it would be worthwhile to add a thread in the tutorial section or another with the title JUNCTION VIEW (JCV)?

So i think why D3060190A.JCV. not working on the nuvi 765 of my friend , i saw the old backup for this nuvi and JCV file is:D1279020A.JCV WITH D127020A.SUM
and i dont know with year of map is matched?

need new JCV file strating with D1279xxxA.JCV Probably: D1279270A.JCV or D1279270B? was one "A" and on gps power 2016.10 is one "B" D1279260B

i dont know i make one error , so old nuvi n765 , probably maps dont have mexico ect... for using d127xxx?

D1279020A.JCV is related to the 2010.10 version of the North American map.

The correct 2016.20 version of the JCV file for the nüvi 765 is D3153190A.jcv or D3080190A.jcv or D3060190A.jcv, depending on preferred file size (smaller file contains less views).

you got a gmap folder, not an .img read:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
scroll down at: Have you downloaded a Gmap folder ?
You must install Basecamp, unlock gmap, if locked, and build your .img with Mapinstall.
