I can install osm map on my Garmin machine but i just can not install any City Navigator Europe Series (like 2015.20, 2016.10...,etc). Always show "Maps are corrupt and cannot be used. Go to
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
to download the latest maps" error code.
Somebody can help me ? The machine is fine.

Some devices have a protected firmware. What is your nuvi? Be more precise with your question.
Have you used Express or an unlocked map? Which unlocker?

    Hello,
I think this map you guys have uploaded is a NTU version, because I've downloaded it from posts 30 and 2 and in both cases I can see the map in my 62S, but I can't search any adress...and this post is a NT version...
    Thank you

Gpsmap 62 can use both NT and NTU.
Do you have another routable map covering the same area in gps? Try to deselect one and retry.
Anyway I don't think kenta2 might have mixed files.

I had the older NT 2014.10, that works fine, but I uninstalled it before install the new one.
Till now, what I did is, download the locked IMG , unlocked it with gimgunlock up to v.0.03+MapSigPatch, then split the IMG with Gmaptool, and install it.
After this process, I can see it properly in Basecamp or Mapsource, send it to my device, where I can see my location, the name of the streets, everything ok, but when I try to navigate to an adress It is impossible, because It seems as if there aren't any databases.
I tried unlocking the IMG file and pasting it directly in the micro SD, and in this case I can't see the map in the device...in this way, the device don't recognize the map.

Firstly, when you instal a simple preview map to your PC with GMapTool it lacks the MDR Subfile which contains the searchable address table used for finding routing destinations. So without it there's no search function. If you then use that map data in whole or part to compile an .img file it will also lack search as you've found. I guess you've done that because the unit only has an internal memory of ~1.7GB so you've made a 'shortcut' map. From initial post of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] thread:

From GmapTool Help: "Unfortunately GMapTool is unable to convert a MDR file form mapset into a format acceptable by Mapsource. Do not bind this file to Mapsource, it will not work properly."
So that's not the way to do it, instead install the PC Version and make a smaller img from the gmap folder using MapInstall. Or you can dl one of the smaller regional unlocked images from P#3 if they suit your purpose.

Secondly, if the full img is correctly unlocked, placed and named it will work on the microSD. x:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img will work for sure if the map's unlocked correctly. That's also safer because if the map img does cause any problems you can just take out the card and everything will be ok.

My pleasure. You'll get the same problem if you use GMapTool to install routable Topos though of course.
