    Just download the locked gmap3d.img and unlock it with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

    Hello guys, I am a newbie so would appreciate your help. I need the middle east maps for my Nuvicam unit. There are so many different files here so iam getting confuse. Would greatly appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction of how to put the maps in my unit. Thanks again

    Look at garmindevice.xml in Garmin folder for supported files and paths.
    I'm not sure this new device can use unlocked maps, because all new devices have a new protected firmware. Let us know

    You can open the GarminDevice.xml in any web browser or text editor. You're looking for supported files and where they're placed [their 'paths']. This is an example of an xml for a nuvi 3597:

    Pressing Ctrl + F keys on the keyboard brings up a search box and you can then look for 'SQLite' for example [see in above: <Path>.System/SQLite</Path>]. Use highlight and you can see every entry:
