60csx accepts only gmapsupp.img as a map name.
To view the map on your PC, download Homeport, insert a sdCard in a card reader and place the gmapsupp.img in Garmin folder, in sdCard.
Only this way you can view and explore the full potential of this map, both 2D and 3D (navigation and fishing charts)

Great tutorial for virtual SD on your PC to show maps in Homeport or Basecamp:

Also if you use BaseCamp a lot you may be interested in these:

Changing MS to 0 makes the map visible to BaseCamp.

If you want to see Bluecharts properly use Homeport, all other options are workarounds only.
Mapsource was good for old (g1) Bluecharts, GMapTool/cGPSmapper crippled MapSource version is not worth the efforts since HomePort can do it better.

Interesting is when a Gmaptool splitted chart is viewed with BaseCamp, the whole chart is displayed as a satellite image now, see post [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Garmin BlueCharts g2 works great in the GPSMap 60cx and 76 cx series units.

I set on my handheld 60csx map details to "most" but i'm still not shure that IALA symbols are displayed as in homeport
