G'day Porka, welcome to GPS Power.

Some mobile camera alerts are built into modern CNs as School Zones are and it's not possible to modify NT format maps. You can remove any Custom or Garmin Cyclops gpi file from the unit's POI folder though or just disable it in settings also of course.

    Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the link. I don't have Garmin GPS standalone but have Dodge navigation inbuilt Garmin map. I used the PC program to generate maps & other files but can't create other add-on img files. Would someone please upload additional img files & other relevent Dodge files for Garmin if possible. So far I got only gmapsupp.img file from this forum with PC installer for my Dodge Journey. Other ASR, JCV, SID, SQLite (db files) I got from the page 1 of the topic.
    Thanks & Regards,
    WhoamiNavi

It should be nice to know which missing files your Dodge supports.

    Thanks for reply.

I need similar to below files:
    └───Garmin
    . │ gmap3d.img
    . │ gmapprom.img
    . │ gmaptz.img
    . │ gmapbmap.img
    . │ gmapdem.img
    . │
    . ├───ASR
    . │ 05DX0YRK.SRX
    . │ 05DX0YRL.ASR
    . │ 05DX0YRM.ASR
    . │ 05DX0YRN.ASR
    . │
    . ├───JCV
    . │ D3191170B.JCV
    . │
    . └───SID
    . D2656190B.SID
    . D3406160B.SID

But I got gmapsupp.img file from the PC installer (other img files can't get). Other SID, JCV, ASR I got fro this forum which are with similar name but not with same name. Below is the procedure to get the files from the GPS device:
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1: Getting update files from the Nuvi (3D map capable)

Begin by plugging your Nuvi into the computer and running GARMIN Express or Garmin Map Updater. The program will let you update your Nuvi software and will install the latest map update. This will take some time, so just let it do its thing.

After the Nuvi has been updated and has the latest maps, you must enable the Mass Storage feature so that you can browse the files using your computer's file explorer. After this is done, your Nuvi will show up in your computer like a normal USB flash drive. This only needs to be done once.

To enable Mass Storage in the Nuvi:
    1) Disconnect the Nuvi from the computer.
    2) From the main, "Where To?" screen, tap the "Volume" button.
    3) Tap and hold the upper-right corner for about 10 seconds to enter the Diagnostics Page.
    4) Scroll down and tap "MTP Settings".
    5) Select "Mass Storage" and tap the "Save" button.
    5) Tap the back arrow button twice to go back to the main screen.

After Mass Storage is enabled, plug the Nuvi back into the computer. To copy the update files to a USB stick:

    1) Ensure that the computer is set to "Show hidden files, folders, and drives", and that "Hide extensions for known file types" & "Hide protected operating system files" are both unchecked. This will allow you to easily find the Nuvi files and avoid confusion.

    2) Plug a blank USB stick into your computer and create a folder named "Garmin". All of the update files will go into this folder, regardless of where they came from in the Nuvi. Inside the Garmin folder, create three more folders named "ASR", "JCV", and "SID".

    3) Open the Nuvi 'drive' and browse to the ".System" folder which should be visible at the top of the list. If you don't see it, go back and double-check that step 1) was completed properly.

    4) Copy ONLY the following five files from the ".System" folder in the Nuvi into the "Garmin" folder in the USB stick:

    gmap3d.img
    gmapprom.img
    gmapbmap.img
    gmaptz.img
    gmapdem.img

    5) Browse to the ".System\ASR" folder in the Nuvi and copy ONLY the following four files into the "Garmin\ASR" folder on the USB stick:

    05DX0YRK.SRX
    05DX0YRL.ASR
    05DX0YRM.ASR
    05DX0YRN.ASR
*Note that these file names are ONLY for 2016.10 map.

    6) Browse to the ".System\JCV" folder in the Nuvi and copy ONLY the following file into the "Garmin\JCV" folder on the USB stick:

    D3191170B.JCV
*Note that this file name is ONLY for the 2016.10 map.

    7) Browse to the ".System\SID" folder in the Nuvi and copy ONLY the following two files into the "Garmin\SID" folder on the USB stick:

    D2656190B.SID
    D3406160B.SID
*Note that these file names are ONLY for 2016.10 map.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Thanks

    Thanks for reading.
Can anyone please send me link of garmindevice.xml for 3490LMT as I want to try few things to get the maps download.

As reading weeklong forums, I found gmapsupp.img is a main map update & it doesn't need other addon files for basic map navigation. So if you plan to update your dodge maps just copy gmapsupp.img of map in garmin folder in usb root (like e:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img) & load it in dodge. It will update the map base beside the already onboard map. Don't worry if it says update failed. You can still see the maps in info of your dodge navigation that the map is added there.

I did the same & i checked new marsdenpark development in colebee, nsw which is in new map now in my dodge navigation.
    Thanks.

Most of the Garmin software based in-dash units use the same additional/ancillary files as 34x0/35x0. You can any obtain useful ancillary files in the first few posts here and in later version postings ongoing. It's just unsafe to share a device's GarminDevice.xml file sorry.
EDIT: New version here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
