    I just tried to update an NA purchased 3597 to NA 2015.40 using GE for fun. It actually told me that the device is not supported by GE and i had to use MU. Happily downloading the map to it using MU now. Go figure, i can't.

    Hi I am new to Garmin. What do you do with these maps files? Do you copy them into Android SD Card Garmin folder? Any specific steps for these maps to work? Thanks.

    HUH?

    This post requires you to click the "LIKE this post" button and hit F5 to read this content.

    Just popped it again into my Etrex 20 from a fresh download and it said it was locked!

    Locked 'column' in Imgtool said it contained TRE instead of NO. Just reused v3 Gimlock to unlock it now it's fine.

    Locked column in Imgtool now says unlocked == good!

    Hi Guys, can I ask a silly question if you do not mind? Does Australian Garmin Map come with speedcam warning?

    G'day tc99c, chilly here today Not a silly question at all, so i'll try not to give a silly answer.

    Garmin maps don't come with specific speedcam warnings, you can get them by loading Cyclops and/or SCDB [[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], but there are some embedded warnings in this and other CNs for known mobile speed check zones and school zones for instance.

    No, it's a separate file that is loaded into a separate folder: Cyclops go in Nuvi POI folder, or in sd/Garmin/POI

    get the file here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    map product manager shows "not lockable"
    unlock mapset garmin unlocks ok as Admin
    But: Mapinstall: No unlocked maps were found for this device. (this is the only map installed on BaseCamp and shows ok)

    @HaraldGPS
    Install another gmap folder to the PC. Sometime if there's only one map product installed it won't show up properly.
