thanks , tried both ways all worked well with and without Unicode features. jcv worked well with both maps on nuvi 65.
I am wondering if new nuvies x5, x6 that have new part numbers can be downgraded for earlier versions ?!

is a changed page code map work on nuvi 2xx9 and 2xx8 ?

    Test and give feedback please.
Works like a charm on gpsmap 64st (firmware 3.90) and City Navigator Europe NTU 2016.10.
    Thanks for the hint.

    Default TOPO Germany v7.01 PRO

Because there was some problem with the Activerouting for this v7 PRO map, Garmin Germany made a new version (v7.01) available.

    Thanks bommelb!
Let's hope Garmin France will follow and also provide an update for it's non-working Active Routing in v4.

    Hi,

I don't really know what was the issue with 7 version : all that I know is that it does not look to be same problem at all as in Topo France v4 because active routing works well in BaseCamp.

Hi, what does that mean (read-only)?

It can be unlocked as any other *.img file?

    Thanks in advance!

It's strange, my downloadversion (see my post #44 or the direct downloadlinks Catymag has given in post #48) gives img-files with only the attribute -a- (Archive); (no -r- (only read), or -h- (hiden) or -s- (system)).
Img-unlock MagSigPatch directly works on that img-files for me (W7-32bits, administrator-rights ( for all transactions).
