Are you referring to JCV and the fact that Garmin supplies the near-useless 'Lite' D3153170A.JCV for eligible 13xx & 14xx with the map update? If so 1xxx can also use any full-screen file 480x270 [D3060170A for all NA or D1279250A if not needing MX]. 1xxx series can also use a 212x324 split-screen file but only the type for 2xxx/3xxx which will show in lower resolution and stretched to fit the full screen. Can't use the one for nuvixx/SP app though.

Edit: Sorry, going blind. Didn't see the CX in your post.

Sorry, I'm referring to CityXplorer North America. The last one I have from gpspower.net was 2014.10. Not sure if you guy create for 2015.40. Or CityXplorer North America no longer created.

Hi guys, new to this. I have a kenwood DNX6180. It uses a USB connection to do the update. No SD card slots on the unit. If someone could point me in the right direction on what I have to do to update the maps that would be a huge help.

    G'day zink, welcome to GPSPower.
In Post #56 of the thread, a user reported success with DNX6180 using this method: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Hi Guys, thanks for the great Works you are putting in this forum.
I need some advise, which JCV and SID file I need to download for my Nuvi 65LM buyed here in Europe for this map? I am using a 16GB SD Card so space is not a problem just need to be sure to get it work as I live in Europe and can not figure it out by trying. Just for info, map is loading fine with firmware version 3.40 and I will not upgrade the firmware to 4.30.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I followed the link but since it is for an older map update, i cant seem to figure out what files i need from this update. I took a guess but my garmin says the update is not for this unit. Mind helping me out? Thanks once again.

I don't think SID files are for you, other xx nuvis like 40 or 52 don't use them anyway. The JCV is the same for all xx nuvi series, so take "D3478150A.jcv" from initial post.

Mate, sorry but i don't have a KW unit to test but they generally seem to use the same files as 25/27xx; 34xx; 35xx nuvis [that's ASR'2' for example]. The files will generally be in the same numerical sequence [but not always]. If you can't sort it from the initial post maybe best to ask over in the thread i linked above.
