Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F (Android 5.0 OS) / Garmin-Asus A10 (Android 2.1 OS) / Garmin Nuvi 1310 / Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P5110 (Android 4.2.2 OS)
i tried many different unlocked img files downloaded from here but still no luck.
i tried the USA only img unlocked file(2015.40) which is less than 2GB but still its unrecognized.
is there any other image you recommend that i download from here and try?
i am trying not to go through installing mapsource and creating img file. please help
Going by that and your previous posts you should be able to use an unlocked map image under 2GiB size on an SD card as you've confirmed it's correctly placed and named [sd:/Garmin/gmapsupp.img]. Some suggestions:
- Update firmware. If you are using V6.30 or below there was an issue using retail maps on SPc5x0:
Code:Please Login or Register to see the linksChanges made from version 6.30 to 6.40:
◦ Corrected issue with Retail Map Update compatibility
- Check the images are correctly unlocked and don't have errors with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

What model GPS are you using ?
Where are you placing the map (GPS internal or SD) ?
and in what folder name ?
and what is the name of the IMG in that folder ?
any error message when booting ?
It's a continuing post, not vague at all if you read the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], or even the reference to his unit etc and previous posts etc in my post above yours.

hi every time I download the part four of usa and Canada unlocked it tells me that it is corrupt I have tried from file factory and uploaded and they are both the same all other parts 123 unzip fine any one else getting this or just me and I have download 4 different times still the same
spijun--re: your post #4 I think the byte size of the D3157160A.sid file you're hosting is incorrect; the d/l size I got from it is 309,175,924 bytes while the "official" byte size for that file as reported in post #1 is 312,244,496 bytes. Would you mind please double-checking your upload on that file?
Update--I downloaded D3157160A.sid from post #1 too, just for grins--it too returns byte size of 309,175,924...so perhaps it is the correct size and the 312 MB size being stated is incorrect?
You are right, I corrected starting post, thanks
