Firmware in nüvi 2xx9 models (and some 2xx7 and 2xx8 models) will prevent unlocked maps from working. That includes your nüvi 2599. Sorry.

The download links posted in post #27 says 2015.30 but the actual download is 2015.20.

I downloaded and installed from post #27 with the new D3060160A.JCV on my Nuvi 855 and the junction view won't work and after going through all the details found out the download link is misleading.

how do you unlock it? I saw the protected garmin file toolkit, but how do you do it?

edit. I tried to unlock it, MapInstall didn't detect it as locked anymore, transferred it to the GPS and the GPS says: Can't Unlock Maps.

    I obviously did something wrong

You unlocked it on your pc, you need to unlock it on your GPS device as well. It's been awhile, since I've done it. I remember using jet mouse to create an .unl file, which is then copied into your GPS.

Wow. Thanks. Is the new method to unlock the maps because of maps or because if the newer GPS devices?

I got a Garmin 3750. After I load the map, it works, but I don't have the junction view anymore.

    Please help.

    Thanks

Did you replace the JCV file with the map? Each map has it's own specific jcv files, for your 3750 with this NA 2015.30 it's D3191150A.JCV SplitScreen. Remove any old jcv files from earlier version NA maps or you could have conflicts.
