Just an update the 2033385.exe does NOT have the right JCV for Nuvi 3790 T. I wish the JCV files were available as separate downloads.
I just extracted the .exe and unlocked the .img and put the .img . jcv and .db to the proper locations on my 3790T . I just wanted to see if the JCV would work, because there are several different files here. So i selected my Location in jakarta airport and destination Bandung. It is not very far. But the route calculation is taking forever on device. Maybe 5-10 minutes. Although only indonesia .img is selected under mymaps in settings in Nuvi. Anyone knows why the calculation for indonesia takes so long? With other maps such as North America or Europe it is always very fast.

No luck with 2033371.exe for the JCV for 3790T either.

Hi,
Thanks for uploading the files.
I am going to Jakarta next month and will be bringing my US bought Nuvi 2595LMT. When I tried to install the map you provided, I get the following messages for each link:
2033371.exe, 2033385.exe, 2033367.exe --> "Please connect your Garmin device to the computer!" - The device is already connected.
2033360.exe, 2033385.exe --> On these two installers, it was able to detect the device but I get the error message "Can't find the unlock Error Code"
I'm totally confused what to do now? What do you think?
Do you happen to have an installer with the unlock record built in?
Thanks.
G'day agnikesh, Welcome to GPSPower.
Your US 2595 isn't entitled to the map update using the *.exe file 'cos it's not an ID localised unit, so so don't run the exe, simply extract it as you would any compressed file such as a rar or zip. Use WinRar or similar. In the folder named 'MapData' you'll find the locked map 'gmapprom.img'. Unlock it with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], rename it to gmapsupp.img and put it on a small micrSD in a folder named 'Garmin'. Best not to use unofficial maps directly on the unit if possible.
PS: I love LA!
PPS: Tom was faster.

Thanks Tom and Neil.
Sorry for the newb questions.
I don't have a micro SD card. If I decide to put it on the device itself, which folder should I put it in?
I see there is a folder titled 'Garmin' on the device. Ok to put the gmapsupp.img file in there?
