I have now unpacked, copied, pasted and added this to a CF card, as my brand new "Canadian" model Goldwing still uses the non NT maps and CF cards, which Honda wants $260 for the January 2010 update for. It works as if it came from Honda. Midnight Blue, you have done a great service. My maps have been upgraded from Oct 2007 data to Oct 2009 data. I have two friends who also have outdated Honda GPS units, one 2008 and one 2007 who will also wish to pass their thanks along, but as they do not have computers (yeah, I know - in this day and age) so they will not be able to. At any rate, I now have a "add to reputation" button, so I will run back to post number four and take care of that straightaway. I love forums and technology. Don't all of you? lol.

Bistabuster you can remove the storage card from the unit in the trunk of the goldwing and connect it to a card reader on your PC to update maps you will also need the unit number from Navi unit you need to remove the unit from the plastic case and the serial is on a sticker on the unit you will need that as well You can get the unit number from the menu on the Navi system by going into setup and GPSINFO screen Im trying the 2009 files on my 2007 Wing I will post the results here and a how to once I get it working

No. Garmin discontinued the non-NT maps when NT 2010.10 was released. All current road GPS receivers, whether nuvi, zumo or dezi (?), use NT maps.

In simpler language, you won't find non-NT versions of 2010-2012 because they don't exist.

Terrific sites and info, I thought I was doom since I have spent a long time researching the last map update for my iq3600 until I found this place. Just download all 13 parts and loaded in SD, iq3600 did not complain at all, will be out testing tomorrow.....thanks for this life saving post!!

I'm a recent convert & was over the moon when I was able to upgrade the Europe maps for my old, but still reliable Quest 1, thanks!

I'm now trying to get the North America maps here, but not having much luck.

The ccf file in post 4 doesn't seem to work & the links look dead. I've also tried to download the alternative 2008 version in post 1 but half of the rapidshare links there also seem dead.

Trouble is I need the mapsource file as the old quest has a small memory & doesn't take SD cards.

Please can anyone help, or point me in the right direction.

    Thanks a lot

    Billy

This 'Old Format' non-NT CN map is for quite old devices such as Street Pilot 2610. Your 760 can use NT [New Technology] maps with the latest mapping data. No need to cripple it with this map which has data from 2008, even though it can display it fine.

File is ok, don't use old IE to download from our server, use Chrome or FF or IE 11, just one seeder on line.
