Unless you have a PH bought unit qualified to instal this map you should not run the exe to instal. Simply extract 1340_Type1824209.exe using WinRar or similar and then look in the folder named MapData for the image file gmapprom.img. Unlock it with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

The junction view function does not work if other maps are activated e.g. roadguide ph. Just for your info.

Best practice is to not have more than one map enabled covering the same area at any time regardless or conflicts result. If your comment is meaning that the JCV file for this CN PH does not work using with only Roadguide PH enabled then of course it won't, as each jcv file is specific to the map even as to version of the same series.

What I mean is that I used CN PH and roadguide map at the same time.

It's a general recommendation to not use 2 or more maps enabled for the same area, they may cause conflicts; and I already seen these conflicts occur (the road may appear duplicated…)…
However, I can identify these conflicts because I know well the area were I’m driving; if I were in an unknown road, sure I’m not turn on 2 maps. Modern devices may calculate the rote by maps turned off, and I don’t see motivation to not seek this advice.

    Best regards!

    Hi All,

Presented below is a patched CN PH 2013.40 JCV file that should work without the need of PH firmware. I have tested it in simulation mode. But I need people living in Philippines to do some road tests to verify the pictures displayed really match the roads and signs at the actual junctions. Thank you for your feedback in advance.

    Patched philippines.jcv from 1340_Type1824209.exe

    Hi

Can you give me the name of a junction in Manila with JCV? Give me [location] to [location] so that I can try whether JCV is triggered in my unit? Thanks!

The JCV works on my Nuvi 52 but it will not work on my 3750. Both units are from the US and with only the CN Philippines 2013.4 activated.
