    Question

Regarding "x-trail" post #22 for "BIG routing problems with ALL 6.xx versions of the Anavasis TopoNavigator Map":

Is there any other solution for easy routing that can be used by somebody who doesn't know (or want) to plan a route in Basecamp?

You could use a different map, one that's meant for autorouting like City Navigator or Autodrive Hellas.

HA-HA! That's obvious, but my question is about easy routing with Anavasis 6.xx map.
    ...lost in translation...

My answer is the only alternative.
You insist in using a 'broken' map and that will never work.
Anavasi topoNavigator (Anadigit nowadays) has always been a good Topo map with bad and broken autorouting functionality. A few years ago City Navigator was no option either but the coverage in SouthEast Europe has improved dramatically. So I would use CN in the car and just change maps when taking a walk.

This map always (read: for many years now) had problems with longer routes, so I don't think they are solved suddenly.

Why I can't see mountain refuges?
On anavasi 5.xx refuges were on the map.

A topo map with out them is useless...

Unfortunately you are right, the 'old' Anavasi map was much better in this respect. I think Anadigit v6 still contains the locations of the refuges but no diffeence is made between them and other map-points. Trailheads and Refuges are all defined as 0x6412 (Trailheads) and are useless now because you'll find Trailheads on every intersection of a trail....
    Another very important feature that's gone in v6: all Long Distance Trails (E4, E6, O1, O3, O22, O31, O32, O33) are gone!

Conclusion: forget Anadigit and use TopoDrive Hellas 2014a

You can 'disable' the contourlines by making them transparent in the typ file. If you don't know how to do this, let me know.
