Thanks, paramas, but my command of Czech language is insufficient to understand. Tried the online translator but it creates a text which looks like it has been produced by a 4 year old toddler.

I think this is quite readable ...
    Bicycle:
Updates bike to October 2012. New map added lanes and tracks for cyclists, shared lanes and the selected mode of transport (mostly MHD) and communication suitable / recommended for cyclists. These cyklocesty are distinguished by a distinctive symbol map.
    Road Network:
A complete update on the state of the roads layer to February 2013. Refining the course of about 5,000 sections of other roads and paths. The addition of about 250,000 segments of local and unpaved roads with route calculation (routing). These sections are not checked by field research, so we decided jcv map with a description of the symbol "unverified way." This large number of new sections of roads significantly was concentrated network communications, including cycling to support routing (automatic route calculation). • Buildings: layer completely updated to 2011, added approximately 125,000 buildings.
    Lakes, streams:
adjustment of geometry elements 500 and added 600 new.
    Parking:
    250 spaces added.
    Course:
    400 Added surfaces.
    Points of interest:
A total of 6,500 new points and some other 4000 changes (corrections or position description, cancellation duplicates). Added architectural building of the 20th and 21 century (700 points), gamekeeper and forest cottage (200 points). Adding tourist stamp points (100 points), memorial trees (200 points), springs (200 points), towers and rozhledových points (100 points), tourist signposts and rest (1,600 points), accommodation and catering facilities (1,400 points) , lifting points, dimensions and saddles (700 points).
In the Mountains and Jeseníku more accurate vegetation above the forest (scrub pine, forest areas). CYKLO Map Czech 2013, which for the first time in our country brings to the navigation Garmin navigation option for cyclists Bike trails and roads suitable for biking. data volume is 324 megabytes maps, the map is divided into 24 regions. installation CD is MapSource mapping environment (version 6.15.7) which is used to transfer map sets, routes and points between navigation and the computer. On the CD are also detailed manuals for installation and a link to online registration. jednolicencní the map, ie. purchased the CD can only be registered to one GPS device. Map license is not transferable, can not in the case of purchasing a new device to change the registration from the old to the new device.
    Compatible devices:
Map CYKLO CZECH NT 2013 is only compatible with Garmin devices that support NT format.
    List of supported navigation:
eTrex Legend and Vista Cx / HCx, eTrex 20/30, Edge 605/705/800, Colorado series, Oregon, Dakota and Montana, GPSMAP 60 Cx / CSx, GPSMAP 62 Series Nuvi, Zumo. Description and maps setting the route calculation method An important lesson that we have gained in a series of tests cycling maps in the field, the difference in calculating routes for different types of navigation Garmin. Outdoor and cyklonavigace when calculating routes too prefer cycling cyclist and trying to lead with the network of roads with a preference for the shortest route and off the busy road. If the calculated route to the destination option route leading along the cycle path, then it tries to program the PC or device used in the field. Conversely navigation devices in cars or on bikes like the nuvi series, zumo Nüviphone or more preferred calculation and management route to the target cycle paths. This happens even when there is a direct connector 2 locations in the route and the path along the cycle path may be a bit longer. Unfortunately we can not conduct individual cycling map series devices with more influence, this is a matter of firmware device that is played out in the instrument manufacturer.
    Bye, Bye

Much better than the translation I found! Thank you. Given the fact so much has been added to the map, compared to the 2012 version, one would expect an increase of img file size, not a decrease.

Sometimes the answer's as simple as a higher compression being used by the map-maker, the result can be a smaller file size which contains more data.

It 's definitely the most probable. I'm experiencing the same, say "anomaly", in the Map of the Caribbean: more data despite a smaller size.
