I think that in the Future for each map we should have 2 threads --1 for (Unofficial Beta Version) and One for Final Version (Official).
The Unofficial can then be deleted once the Official is fully populated with all files.
For Me It's also confusing !

Ok...guys This topic is veering in the OT and in flame. Tonight I cleaned it for good

Perhaps you did not understand:I have so much fun reading all these posts of unnecessary/useless/double-triple requests
But not as safe as they enjoy the other users who read and do not understand us

The catymag was educated and objective without being ironic as you have been.
In fact, the irony is the juice of life .... the sarcasm is rude. Thanks for giving me the ironic

The confusion on this map was because Garmin and in May released a beta version incomplete and with many bugs, in June the Garmin released the official version.*
But I will try to gather all items from the official version and put it all in one post.*
In order to avoid these wear.
I do not remember BETA versions of the Garmin maps.
And to whom they are addressed? Developers? The users? From May to June can not fix many bugs .... and the manifest has not changed.

Ps: post links of monterra (post 1) are beta.
This is your statement that you can only corroborate with the data:
until then you should respect the work of others

    Strongly disagree with this idea.
If you look closely, the topic manifest in the preview section are not closed until the official release of the map.
If the map is changed, change the links and notify you (as happened with the SAM or MENA 2013.30, if I remember correctly, but problem for download of MSV,not BETA version)
Would only serve to confuse users.
We might also expect to post the maps only with the official release..but we are Noeman: we have maps before Garmin ....

I'm sorry, but after reading these IMHO silly comments about "OFFICIAL(not BETA) map" leaked files in starting post (you can compare files MD5 with map manifest, if you are able to find it and if you understand what I'm talking about),
I WONT post any other leaked CNSAMNT version in the future.
Not sure if I'll post other leaked maps on main board or just in Master zone, may be Admin or Mods can contact me and give me some hints about this matter.
To avoid on forum multiple absurd non yet existing files request or these official map weird requests and to create a closed thread in that section, probably for more advanced users ,with just a starting post I could edit when files are "available".

Note by catymag: I'm sorry too ,but I understand your frustration. We'll discuss about possibilities in private.

    @ monterra

Many thanks for your great job and share...

My Two Bob's worth on this. We haven't had a problem in the AUNZ 2014.10 'pre-release' thread and i believe that's because Roger added this to Post #1 shortly after monterra posted the map:
    NOTE by MOD:
This map has'nt been released yet
    Smiley wink
Additional files will be posted as they become available.
Each request will be trashed and given REP-
    .
    wink3
Additional files were posted by helpful members and were added to Post 1 or links to the member's post with the file links were added along with explanations of what was available. When the map was released on 14th June, I changed Rog's note to this [still with the warning]:
    NOTE by MOD:
This map now been released 14th June
    Smiley wink
Additional files will be posted as they become available.
Each request will be trashed and given REP-
    .
    wink3
I also posted this Post #7 in there on 14th June:
Quote Originally Posted by Neil View Post

Everybody, please note: Do not make any posts requesting further ancillary files such as ASR1/2, SID, 3D Map. These will be posted by members as they become available, like Monterra has helpfully posted the GS2 and JCV files.
More files were added until finally only ASR1 files were lacking. I then changed the note to simply this:
This map now been officially released (14th June)
and added this at the base of the post:

Note: The only additional/ancillary files presently not posted as of 17th June seem to be the 37xx specific ASR1. If you have them please post to share with others. Thanks.
So from the date of initial posting a bit over a week ago we haven't had any problems like here. BUT ... this initial posting was made 5 or 6 weeks ago so the frustration levels of ppl wanting to get the extra files would be much higher. Still, i think the fact that Rog adding a warning to post 1 there and and subsequent linking/adding of files to post 1 would have greatly helped in stopping useless requests in the AUNZ thread.

I hope that our sweet Caty can convince monterra to keep posting these maps. He/she has made an incredible contribution with only a handful of posts to date. I'm sure everybody greatly appreciates that contribution and nobody is trying to deliberately cause upset or offence, but if i were in monterra's shoes i think i would have reacted exactly the same way as in that post above. I think a few PM's or Visitor Messages from some of the ppl who have inadvertently caused this problem might go a long way towards soothing those justifiably ruffled feathers.

This post is also quite OT, so it's OK for it to join the rest of those [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] when it's had a chance to be read by all concerned. Peace Brothers & Sisters ...

A simulation of traffic won't appear in the GPS, but the device can predict it, and calculate the faster route based in your earlier behavior (and in the traffic FM if available, if you have the receptor antena,…). What you can see in the display is the previous routes you has passed, in blue; and can configure it to appear above the map (I really like and use this).
"With trafficTrends, your nüvi Garmin GPS automatically learns daytime trends for traffic flow to improve your routes and better predict your estimated time of arrival based on time of day and day of week. And you get free trafficTrends™ updates every time you connect your device to my Garmin."; by Catymag, found in:
