Both 1281 and 1790 maps (being selected as the alone map) switch off my 3790T while browsing the map and achieving the boarder.
CN Russia NT 2013.40 doesn't show such behavior.

Do you try to update 1281 and 1790 map to version 6.18? If yes you need wait for CN Russia NT 2014.10 for full test. Version 6.18 is based on Roads of Russia 5.29 against version 5.28 for 2013.40. This versions have so many difference. And do not forget what Topo map have a twice volume of map objects in compare with Road!

map with fid 1790 is for new devices ,is needed for buildings adress search
What is the difference on my Montana? Are there different map layouts and different information in it? Do they all look the same???

    1. The latest version is 6.16.
    2. And (quote of the initial post of the thread):
Version 6.16 is created on the basis of a road map of Russia. RF + neighboring countries. version 5.29
    3. What should i wait from issuing of CN Russia NT 2014.10? My 3790 will start rebooting (in fact - switching off) while the state boarder appears on the screen? I bet this won't be the case. Even RoR 5.29 doesn't show such bad behavior.
    4. Haven't got the idea of map objects and there volume. Anyway - is this matter (that i should not forget) a serious reason to switch off my nuvi when Finnish boarder appears on the screen? lol

You became guru! It is about switching off map in menu. After you use this map more you meet many funny error. For example, objects with code name "flatland" is cliff, or water channel instead placers of stone (cybercriminals forgot to pour water) CN Russia NT rests...
No problem on other device with Finnish boarder, may be you have conflict SW and basemap. It happens periodically on 3790 with an unfavorable disposition firmware and maps even on roads map.

I think for all FID. And also for other Russian maps too. On different device there are the different bugs!
