Catymag,
The file (gmapsupp.img) does not work in my montana 610. Here is the mesage I receive from my gps; (Can't authenticate Maps. Contact content seller for help.) First time I have this problem. Same thing if I export to basecamp of gps.
Is there a problem with the file.

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
I tried with this software (v.0.03+MapSigPatch), and it does not work for this map for my gps.
This is what we say on the forum; These new devices firmware have Map Signature Verification.
Montana 610/680/680t are new releases and also have the upgraded protection
against 'unlocked/unofficial' maps. At this stage it seems only legally purchased Garmin maps are usable in them.
In wait that a new version of (v.0.03+MapSigPatch) wich is going to correct the problem of the new device firmware.
I have to find a method to remove the signature with GPSMapEdit: Convert the file img.(gmapsupp)to mp. and reconvert the mp. to img.
I verify the new file img. and it contains no more signature. I can export the new img.(gmapsupp) towards the Montana 610 with no problem at all.

Got this loaded to my nuvi no problem. The map is loaded as transparent and can not be used for directions. Any way to make this map routable? thx
It should be routable, look at description:

Is there another setting i should change. I am a noob at this
It no longer says "transparent" when i look at installed maps but when I set a location, it uses nearby roads and won't use the trails as the path.
Thanks for the help
@catymag
Do you know of a setting I should use to make the trails recognized as the route and not the roads? Thanks
@Vandelay Ind
Have you unchecked other maps covering the same area in Maps list in nuvi?

yes i have. Even with the maps turned off there are still a few major highways showing. It ends up using those instead of the trails.
