    Hi All,

I read in this thread that the UUD5 have water tiles. I did check via BaseCamp and found this to be true. Most of Tokyo are covered with 'River' tiles. I tried to download the patched version, and I think it is no longer available.

I would like to ask is there any steps to take to remove the 'River' tiles? Or any links to the patched map? Any help is greatly appreciated. Btw I am using Nuvi 2465.

Yes of course. You just need to observe correct naming conventions for detail maps in GMXT: gmapsupp.img or gmapsup2.img or gmapprom.img.

Just a update, I have been using this map in a Nuvi 1450 and a Nuvi 760 touring Japan.

On the UUD site they list two versions, a topo map and a city navigator map.
The version linked here when used in my devices shows roads and the topo data but no POI, shops etc as pictured above in mapsource.
The map crashes often and most commonly when I get into the mountains with lots of topo lines showing. On flat ground and urban areas it has never crashed.
I have wondered is this not in fact just the Topo version and not the City Navigator version?

Comparing it to the old v10 City Navigator I find the Japanese map never crashes and it displays the Japanese language fine in my English Nuvi's.
Having the translated to English approximate of the street name on the UUD5 is rarely of any use as there is rarely ever a English street sign.
The road numbers which exist on larger roads are the shown using either map.

I also use Go-Go Navi on iPhone which offers full search via English input but prefer my garmins for touring.
It is a shame there has been no further release here of the Japanese map which is superior and now up to v15.

    Hi all,
Unfortunately from my end, all links are unavailable. Could you please provide me another link to upload the map?
    Thanks a lot.

Has anyone had problem with this map on Street Pilot V2.33/V2.35 on Android? I've been trying to do trip planning with this map and it causes Street Pilot to crash every time it starts to calculate the route.

Works great on the Montana 600 for me as well, thanks! Will post how the routing works when I move to Tokyo in a month. Thanks again Catymag.
