    I can't use patched.img. in Oregon 400t
I was able to see the map in Basecamp. However, the whole surface became green when the map was transmitted to the device.

I'm one of those ... I confirm the Map is read and shown correctly in my Asus A50, and in my old nuvě 205T too.
Water in Tokio is where it should be...

Meant to post a report about this. Life has been crazy.
Anyways, patched img file loads up in my 3790. Japan is not underwater, routing information is available, however the roads and topo info are NOT visible.

Also, its possible to run version 4, and over lay it with version 5. But I would imagine that would just get confusing.

For myself, I will be down grading my map version back to 4, since do need to see where I am going.

The patched image works great in Garmin-Asus A10 and StreetPilot 1.49 running on Sony LT26w. Thank you.

However, I have a little problem with this map either unpatched or patched.
If I try to search for a nearest restaurant, or a gas station, etc in StreetPilot 1.49 or 2.01 (from Padfone1),
I get "no data available". The only working searches by category are auto dealers and government offices.
All other POIs are not searchable by categories. Since StreetPilot doesn't display POIs on the map,
and it lacks a function to list all nearby POIs (by searching for an empty string ""), it is almost useless to
search for anything unless you know the name of the place.
In Garmin-Asus A10 I do not have this problem.

    Default UUD5 with Nuvi 1450

Works with Nuvi 1450. After one day in Japan, the UUD5 has better routing than the Garmin V10 for small roads (alleys) that the V10 avoids unless forced by several via points. So far the UUD5 has better routing than the UUD4 and better than the Garmin V10. Will see after a few more weeks. UUD4 finds Costco 3 km off, UUD5 20 km off. V10 can't find Costco from the parking lot. UUD5 crashes often, V10 almost never. UUD5 is slower than V10. I find no benefit for UUD's English street names. Both speak routing in English.
