    I just got a surprise. The English only version won't work with Garmin Base Camp. It works fine on both my Nuvi units. I put the version 12.1 back on a memory card and it works fine with Base Camp. There is an obvious difference somewhere.

    My eng map has the MS flag set to '1'. For BC to see it, it needs to be set to '0' (zero):

    To reset it, open the image in GMapTool, under 'Write' tab, check 'Set version in header' and put '0' in Ms field, then press 'Write all' or 'Write selected' to save. Image will then be visable in BaseCamp:

    That worked. Simple minded people like me sometimes need expert advice.

    NP.. lol! Not an expert anyway, just a simple minded old fart as well, but luckily i retained the particular brain cell with that info on it. BTW, remember this?: The definintion of an 'expert' = 'x' is an unknown quantity, and a 'spurt' is a drip under pressure. You're old enough to remember that one i'm sure.

    @liam.adv
    Of course. This is an NT, the type used for modern City Navigator maps. It will work in any unit capable of using NT (New Technology) maps, including yours. For units with US/EU fw, choose the english version.

    I try to use the Dual Unlock map with Garmin Thailand iPhone Version but it doesn't work. In the version 12.1 Dual has no problem. It only can detect Unlock 3D map.
    Has anyone try this out. Please advice.
