    Hi,

I noticed something strange about Topo DOM-TOM v3.
When displayed on Basecamp, all is right.
But when displayed on my Montana, La réunion island contour lines (and strangely only La Réunion island contour lines) are shown in feet and not in meters (even when meter unit is selected on Montana). If you want to see heights in meter, you have to make appear the red pin on the selected contour line and read heights in meter at the top of the screen.
Has anybody noticed that on Montana or other devices ?

Here are a few screen shots :

    La Réunion on Basecamp :

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

We can see a waypoint at 2460 m.

La Réunion on my Montana :

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

The same waypoint is given in feet (8070,9) !!!!

If I want it to be displayed in meters (2464 m), I must press the white frame at the top of the screen :

The SD card is probably the original, not a copy.
TOPO maps on SD if it is normal that they work on any nav: are unlocked for the SD card is not for the individual device

To unlock the map GMAPSUPP: img tries to follow this 3rd [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

To unlock the file .db create file.unl with JM map with FID map and ID device

    Hi,

    Forget prehistoric MapSource.

Use Basecamp : make a virtual removable SD card on a part of your hard disk computer so that all your .img topos will be displayed in Basecamp without putting .img files on a SD card.

Dear all, sorry for my questions, but I don't get it.
I managed to use GMapTool to load this IMG file into Mapsource. But there are no street names. Is this normal?
How do I create a route inside this Topo Map, please? I would like to use the route as well on the GPS.
    Many thanks.
    B

You use Basecamp with file IMG (map) on SD or pen drive (or Virtual SD on your PC) in folder Garmin or Map....and enjoy

    Bye,bye

Do these maps also have the ski slopes and lift connections on them? If not, does this even exist?
