    @haturaya
    Personal experience maybe comes into it to a degree. Maybe one is better depending on where you are navigating at the time. My own experience is that Sensis is not very up to date around where i live but Navteq is. Of course that's of no consequence to me personally because i know the area well.... but it does leave me wondering if Sensis/WhereIS have been as sloppy elsewhere. Garmin are no longer loading Sensis onto most Nuvi models since last February, Navteq is now on most new devices. Sensis is still available as NuMaps Lifetime purchase, as is Navteq. We're currently the only place in the world where Garmin gives you a choice of map providers for Lifetime map purchases:
    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    But no Sensis as a onetime purchase, only Navteq:
    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    That may be reason enough to believe that Sensis is mainly only being keep going to satisfy those who have a LM model unit purchased with Sensis preloaded, and that Garmin may eventually abandon Sensis/WhereIS altogether. For that supposed reason alone it's enough for me to say 'Mate, just go with Navteq'. There are comments that Sensis has better POIs and Navteq pronounces Tce & Hwy as separate letters ie T C E & H W Y. I'm sure that will be addressed eventually and in the meantime i'll put up with Karen saying the letters and me not being able to find the nearest Maccas or Shell (who cares, not me). However, getting lost in unfamiliar parts because of old map data is not on for this little black duck and the big deal-breaker for me with Sensis has been that for some time Garmin has been issuing a Navteq truckies map in parallel with Sensis. That speaks volumes in itself.

    Checking both 2013-20 versions back-to-back on known sample areas:
    Navteq roads are definitely more up to date with new additions, but maps noticeably lacking in other details. Also in practice finding weird Junction View's that don't make sense as they are not major junctions. E.g one telling me not to turn off a major freeway down a minor road into a local town.
    Sensis roads are old version 2013.10 or earlier and missing new roads, but has significantly more POI's and detail in other areas such as parks, tracks etc.
    Bit of a catch 22 depending on what your needs are, would be worthwhile changing the Sensis FID and running both.

    You can run both deselecting one at a time, but cant use them together coz covering the same routing area, probably Nuvi wouldnt show one of the two or have weird behaviour. Then, if maps have the same FID you cant deselect one coz Nuvi thinks just one map is loaded.

    Just gave it a shot and it works ok in a 1390. I sometimes have both a routable Topo and CN for the same area both selected together as it makes the combined geographic and metro POI all available to search which is useful and have never had issues.

    So in this case I changed the FID of the Sensis version so it's not the same as Navteq, and with both loaded and selected the Sensis sits on top and is visible. The different sets POI's combine and are searched together which is quite neat, and the routing and navigating also seem to work fine.

    I have to test a bit more to see how it handles the newer roads in the unseen layer but so far so good.

    Caty is right as always. Don't have 2 CN's covering the same areas or there will be problems, eventually. You may get away sometimes but conflicts will occur. Not at all sure what you mean to gain by changing the FID of the Sensis as it's already different to Navteq anyway, 2692 for 2013.20 Navteq & 2627 for both 2013.10 & 2013.20 Sensis. As for a topo with cn, less chance of problems but Garmin actually recommends against that too:
