    @Xoriz
    How have you unlocked the charts? Use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. In an older device with old fw, a JM generated unl code may work, but not with recent fw or in a new device. Is that what you've done?

    Also, have you placed the image named gmapsupp.img in a Garmin folder in the root of sd?

    I have downloaded the 9ea RAR files and unpacked them so i got one file named gmapsupp.img, then downloaded gimgtools-0.03-win32 and unpacked this file so i got three files (gimginfo.exe), (gimgunlock.exe) and gimgxor.exe, then i drag gmapsupp.img over the icon called gimgunlock.exe and then i got a window popup and after 1-2sec it closed automatic again, after that i made at empty folder (/GARMIN) on the empty SD card and last i took the unlocked gmapsupp.img file and put it into the empty /GARMIN folder.

    Test with GmapTool for Details...check if Locked,the mapset....and you post the Log,tnx
    Update your device with Web Updater....for working SD >2Gb
    On SD/nav only one mapset....
    Also read this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    It should work then. Check the unlocked img with GmapTool to check it's unlocked fully. If it works in one unit and not the other and it shows as fully unlocked in GmapTool, then try it on another sd card. Some cards aren't well tolerated by certain Garmin units.

    EDIT: Lol! Speedy G. Got talking to someone and forget to check before i posted. The problem is it works in his old device, not in his new device which has the more modern fw.

    Yes,I read and I agree

    If it mapset is not unlocked,would in fact an error message
    It seems that does not see the SD, or does not see the map
    Perhaps for other mapset installed, or too many processed tiles (others map installed)

    Well ... I started with the simplest things

    Rog,
    I agree, likely the map is unlocked but the unit is not seeing the sd. As his unit only has base map preloaded and cannot accept loading of charts to internal memory, it's unlikely to be a map tiles problem.

    @Xoriz
    Try with another SD and report.
