    Mainly I see this as one step - Just run "WorldMap_v5.exe" and follow the instructions there.
    If we break down what happens with "WorldMap_v5.exe" you will have this sub-steps.
    1. Run "WorldMap_v5.exe".
    2. Answer "Yes" on UAC control if applicable.
    3. Press "Accept" button on License screen.
    4. If you use the default settings, just press "Install", otherwise change the path to your own specific GMAP directory. If you use a non default directory you will need to create a GMAP shortcut link in the default directory that points to the specific GMAP map directory.

    Great note, and saved my day!
    finally I found a way to move all those map-related Gigas from my nearly full c: drive to another drive - basecamp finds them now.

    (gave pos.rep. too)

    Yes, tutorials are great, but in this case, I did not see there that 'trick' to use a simple

    "shortcut link in the default directory that points to the specific GMAP map directory."

    it is very easy and safe way to do it, even a 'clumsy' person like me can't make any 'disaster' with it!

    @Rudy_P
    Are you using MapReverseConverter because you're wanting an older version of MS, v6.13.3 or earlier, to handle your maps? If that's not the reason then there is no need to be using MRC just to relocate your GMAP folders. Read this Post 2 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] as linked above by catymag, or you can just leave shortcuts in the default directory pointing to your maps new location on another drive, also stated above.
