Wish i could figure out how to fix the poi searching lag :-(
I doubt very much that Garmin would do something to defrag a flash drive, cause every time you read or write on a flash drive or ssd it wears out the electrodes, so there is a limit to how many time you can access it (big number though, something like 10,000 or 100,000))

Hey guys. I have a NUVI 200 that I use on my motorcycle. Fits perfect and works...... With all the new roads in my area, the map is outdated badly. Being a bit of a rookie at this, I could really some help to upgrade the map to NA 2013 or 2012.

Can one of you really smart guys detail what I need to
    1. download
    2. what files I need to put where
    3. Tools I should use to do the upgrade

    Thanks very much

Keep in mind that certain 200W units, such as mine, only come with 1GB of memory which will require transferring portions of the map to a SD card. Hopefully you don't encounter this.

Did any 13xx come with only 1GB internal? I thought even the first ones had 2GB. Maybe it's formatted in FAT not FAT32?
