For 276C use the 'normal' NT: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Info from Post #4 of current thread:
for new devices only, that supports unicode
original map for all nuvi 2XXX und 3XXX

Read the post above yours. NTU maps are for newer devices (2xxx & 3xxx). Others have problems with searching. Also, have a look at this thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] which explains more fully why you should be using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] although i see you posted in the NT/NTU difference thread in August last year and were answered by catymag in regard to search with NTU on Nuvi 1300, 1350, 200 etc. If your unit can't read cyrillic NTU is even more useless to use.

There are a two types of Garmin device. Software of the old devices do not support UNICODE. New units have support for UNICODE over against.
So UNICODE is a keyword for difference between version. If unit software do not know how to cook UNICODE what can we see on frying pan? I think the handful of smoldering coal only

Since you asked, I just looked for and discovered Rapidshare links are already available in the thread.

I'd suggest looking a wee bit closer.

I've also posted this in the conversion threads, but thought it better to add here also as it seems more on topic.

I'm struggling to understand the traffic trends after my 3760 to 3490 conversion.

I'm of the understanding that part of the trend files is now stored in the SID folder (The G2S folder no longer being required). If that is the case, why do we still need the DB file (D317400.db) in the SQLite folder. Note, I tried deleting this file and lost the traffic trends on the installed maps section.

The confusion gets worse as D317400.db does not seem to be bundles with 2012.40 Unicode which I believe the 3490 uses?
