    eTrex vista HCx and eTrex Legend HCx aren't able to show raster maps at the fact!
    But this map contain typical Garmin vector segment according to specification:
    - Features an overview map scale of 1:200,000.
    This vector segments it is not small (about 6Gb):

    I think you must see more info then several dots but only small scale. May be try delete with gMapTool the Tirol_Wanderatlas_Raster subfiles for usability for display on all scale?
    Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

    You are right - Garmin has made a mistake here: eTrex xxx HCx are definitely NOT compatible. Works only on newer outdoor devices with microSD slot.
    Note that on the other hand Oregon models 200, 300 and 400 are also not (no more?) listed by Garmin although they are compatible (same applies to Alpenvereinskarten)...

    POIs are a component of the map file. This map has no extra poi file.

    In that POI-File they are the Routes for the map. Not POIs like Shops.
