    • Allows users to choose between standard 2-D direct overhead or 3-D "over the bow" map perspective to make chart reading and orientation easier.

I presume inland lakes are not covered by this. Any maps out there with hydrographic data on Australian lakes?

Yse it does work with homeport

But can it work in mapsource?

All of the other BlueChart maps do

I think it may be something to do with the FID 2460, region 3,35 and the Garmin GMA protection

If somebody else gets it going i would like a copy or a how 2 guide of how they got it to work

If you'e followed catymag's tut in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] of the other thread after unlocking with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], i've run out of suggestions. Try it again making sure you've enabled the right options and checked the boxes on the split tab in GMapTool as shown by catymag. If still not working, post again for Ballebar, catymag or someone more familiar with working with marine maps to reply.

THX Neil for all your help

I followed the instructions as noted in your post

When i looked at the map (before it has been unlocked) it shows Data MPS
    F: PID 0, FID 0, HXPC024R

Not as noted in the first post
    PID 1, FID 2460, region 3,35

Could this have something to do with it?

Maybe. But i think there is a problem with G2 Bluecharts in MS, so perhaps it's back to the "use HomePort" advice unless one of the gurus can help when they're online. You were hoping to go fishing tomorrow i suppose Mick.
