    Rotweiler's Vietnam Routable Ver. 2.06 -

    October 7, 2011
The Vietnam Version 2.06 mapset contains all of Vietnam. This mapset has full search ("Find") functions for all Cities, Points of Interest and roads both in MapSource on your computer and on your GPSr. This is a major re-working of the Vietnam mapset including major improvements, corrections and additions especially to the southern part of Vietnam including the highway system between and the roadways within all cities between Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. New streets and Points Of Interest for many Cities south of HCM City including Can Tho; Khanh Hung; Vinh Loi; Ca Mau; Vinh Loi, and many more; as well as major improvements to the highways in the southern area of Vietnam.

There's an attachment with the Mac version in this post. Conversion made with Garmin MapConverter v2.1.1.

I download the gmap version for use under windows/Mapsource. The mapID in the type-file is not correct. You can easily repair this with a helpfull program : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Default Rotweiler's Vietnam V2.06 Image File

Here is gmapsupp.img with MS Flag set to 0 using GMapTool for viewing in Basecamp:

You can change an image's MS flag from 1 to 0 and change other info such as FID, PID using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Use the 'Write' tab.

Firstly, under 'Options' tab, enable Advanced options by ticking the box, then insert desired new info using 'Write' tab:

Additionally, in V0.6.0> there is a 'Change' Tab.

GMapTool is an invaluable and versatile tool when you need to change info in 3rd party garmin maps such as this one, and indeed in any garmin map image.
