    upgrade and patch Mapsource, 6.15.7 is old like a dinosaur

    mapsource 6.15.7 is required by RGPH maps.. updated mapsource can't read their img files.

    is this still true on the 2.0 version? or on this 1.25 version for that matter? I'm still using the 6.15.7.

    I always used 6.16.3 , np for me, with original MS or Gmaptool splitted versions. I see them in Basecamp too. See my previous posts in this thread (n°7)

    Same question as above. Any update on the v2?

    Another thing, what's the use of the TYP and the one previous posted for download?

    TIA!

    First question see post n.38
    Second question, TYP file makes he map more readable in gps. Roads can be too narrow without it, but it's what users said , I havent tested it

    @catymag

    Thanks for the reply!

    Last question about this map, do I still have to change the TYP thing? And when I uploaded this to my device, 2 identical name in map info appeared, and the name is not RG 1.25. Did I do the right thing?

    Hi guys, noob here.
    I've been using the roadguide contributor's map 1.24 for a few months now so far so good.
    But of course if I can get my hands on something new or updated the better.
    So I was able to download the contributor's map 1.25 + v2.0 demo and loaded it into my Garmin, it works.
    My only concern is that, the roads are narrow compared to the 1.24.

    Is anyone else experiencing the same thing I am?

    TIA!

    Bro, try browsing the thread, you should change the TYP thing on the Nuvi. Works perfectly after doing it.
