Has anybody noticed this difference?:

Friends, you gotta be kidding me.
This map was released 2 months ago, Garmin releases every 6 months (maybe in the future every 3 months) the map for Philippines.
So don't expect so soon a new map

How do you unlock the jcv? And where do you place the jcv file in the device? Thanks.

It depends what unit model do you have, and what it's firmware is eg US/EU, SG/MY or PH. If you have an asian unit that can read this type of JCV file, with most Nuvi models you can usually place the jcv file in a folder named 'JCV' (no quotes) in the .system folder of unit, or in the Garmin folder of the sd. If you have a unit with us/eu fw, don't bother because the encrypted jcv file will cause a crash & reboot error.

Is it possible to convert a US unit to an Asean one?
