    @catymag
    there's no img file on the garmin folder, only the xml document garmindevice. I downloaded from their website while my nuvi is connected through usb.

    I already found it..thanks catymag to your tutorial.. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    How do you exactly use the JCV file with the 3790T? I extracted the Philippines.JCV file from the .exe file downloaded from the official Garmin link and transferred it to the System\JCV folder of my 3790T but it seems to not work properly. When in route mode, my GPS turns into half-screen view (division is in the center of the screen vertically) but just shows a small square gray box in the center. I'm assuming this area is for the JCV function.

    Also, is JCV not supposed to be on full screen with the 3790T? Do I get to use the Photoreal JCV function for this device?

    What am I missing here? Please help me. Thanks.

    For me OSM map is still better and you don't have to go through all those unlocking sequence. Now , they even added mirror link for easier download.

    Unlocking is super easy to do. OSM is better only in the provinces as City Navigator only covers the main highways. In Metro Manila though, City Navigator is way better.

    I couldn't agree more on this.

    Anyway, is the JCV for the Philippines locked that's why it can't be used in a US 3790T? Please confirm, aekhong and catymag
