    @p!xeldealer
    yes CNE and CX tiles have the same FID, except MMR ones, if you are using NT and probably wont show, NTU also creates problems because covers the same area in Amsterdam, paramas was right, must disable one of the two.

    Blonde needing help, please. Using a Nuvi 1300 and have tried all the maps noted in the posts above (1,3,4,5,8,11 [4 is a dead link]) and while it will work; and it will even go into pedestrian mode (I am using the GPS simulator mode) as I am here in the USA, I cannot get any public transport to show up. In fact under settings and Navigation, Transit Types is set to enabled and greyed out....can't do a thing with it. I have the Amsterdam map on my SD chip, have used it under the name Amsterdam_2013_41.img as well as a gmapsupp.img and still same results: Can't get any public transport modes to show up.

    What am I doing incorrectly? Thanks for all the help.

    Thank you for the ever so fast reply, Kenta2! However, I was thinking that the maps I posted had already been unlocked and were set to go with enhanced pedestrian mode (and public transport data) based on what I had read in the thread. Are you advising me that NONE of the Amsterdam city explorer maps are unlocked for EPM and public transport? I could swear I read on the posts in that thread that they had been unlocked? I appreciate you assisting this GPS new comer. I have no clue how to use the PID or FID 2. Too, I've tried to understand those key generators and am not having much luck with that. Thank you very much. Also, I have to admit and add at this point, I don't know where to find this PID tool or the FID2 tool, or the key generator. Maybe I am just reading too fast or just too tired from all the trying. Maybe tomorrow "my game" will be a bit more on. In the meantime, any help would be appreciated.

    Update: I now have found what the Jet Mouse is and have it! Not sure how to use it as I see conflicting data for get the CX for Amsterdam to work. I now know what FID stands for: Family ID! However, is the family ID 800 or is it 2419? I "assume" (never a good thing to do....but oh well) that the other fields remains static in the Custom Mapset fields....that is, PID remains 1; RgnID remains 0; and VenId remains 0.

    So, I stick that long number generated for map unlock code in notepad and name it something AmsterdamCXSW.unl and place it in the Garmin folder on the SD chip. That's as far as muddled it up.

    And it still won't show public transport. I am stumped. Sorry to be so needy.....but I'm old military who grew used to the one order followed another and I knew all the code words and initials and what they stood for. At least I know what FID is all about. But it would nice to be able to figure out how to get the public transport to show: That area is still "chisled out" grey stating "enabled" but ain't nothing enabled about it all. I know it's me.....but ......help?! Thanks

    The Map is unlocked already. (You must download the FID800 Map to make things easier)

    You need to create a jetmouse 1.5 unlock code with fid 800 pid 1,0,0 and this will unlock the "Enhanced Pedestrian Mode" in your Nuvi.
    You need to type in your unit id as well.

    Paste the long number into notepad and then save it with the extension .unl (beware windows will try to save it as .unl.txt).
    Filename of map IMG must be Exactly the same as Filename of UNL (EG CX_am.img CX_am.unl )

    De-select all other Maps in your Nuvi except the CX Map and restart Nuvi (Just in case of conflicts.)

    Place the unlock code in the same folder as your map. SDCARD /Map

    Thank you so much for working with me, dasilvarsa. I have done exactly as you instructed but still no public transport capabilities. On the Navigation screen where it says "Transit Types", the button is chisled out, although it does say "enabled". Still, I am not given any options to use public transport of any sort.....the Nuvi 1300 does provide a pedestrian walking path to wherever I set it; but no public transport. I am using the FID800 catymag has supplied in post 8 and the name of the .img file is the exact same as the .unl file I generated using the 1.5 Jetmouse: However, no public transport. Both the .img and .unl are in the MAP folder on the SD What am I doing so wrong? I really am dependent on the transport or I wouldn't be pursuing it so much! Thanks.

    Have you put your position on cx map ? Read the above linked (post n15) instruction thread with care.
