    Does the actual name of your unlock code file end with .unl or .unl.txt? The latter won't work.

    If you were a PC user, right click on the file and select "Properties" then click on the "Details" tab to show the actual file name.

    I set Windows to not hide file extensions, so the file is certainly a .unl, saved with notepad with the option "All files" instead "Text documents (*.txt)"; also the file contains only the generated unlock code (no "enter" after paste the code).

    Checked the MD5 checksum of the locked map I downloaded and it's different (7dfe82c5628055a53602b012ad85a99d). Marcio, can you please confirm the checksum?

    Worked fine using the generated unlocked CNB map as gmapprom1.img and the tracksource map as gmapsupp.img. Thanks catymag.

    depends on the region where you are ... However, City Navigator Brazil is better in big cities ... and now is getting very good in smaller cities ...

    I only use cn Brazil 2012.10 ...

    Default New thread to use.

    @bmoweb

    Use the thread for CN South America NT 2012.40 instead. Try one of the links to specific posts:
    1. CN South America NT 2012.40 as IMG-file: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    2. CN South America NT 2012.40 as MapSource installation: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    3. CN South America NT 2012.40 as MapSource installation & 3D & G2S & JCV: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    4. CN South America NT 2012.40 as MapSource installation & IMG & 3D & G2S & JCV: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Use MapSource installation and create CN Brazil NT 2012.40 if you only need Brazil coverage.
