When you install RG 1.24, how do you make it one .img file that you can transfer to your 3790T? Would using Mapsource to transfer all img files (not merged) from the jklinc/roadguide.ph directory be better than just transferring gmapsupp.img?

If I understand correctly, the img files located in the jklinc/roadguide.ph directory don't have thr TYP img file yet embedded in them? The typ will be incorporated when you use map source to transfer the maps to the devices?

    I repeat instructions
You can change typ with Gmaptool if you downloaded the gmapsupp.img in post one or, if you installed MS version you must send the selected img to your pc instead of sending directly to your nuvi ( use a patched Mapsource) , change the typ with change option in GmapTool as explained before and transfer the modified img to gps.
Another possibility to change the typ in Mapsource version is : install it, open C:\jklinc\roadguide.ph folder and run TYP for mobile xt nuvi and zumo 1.10, but I'm not sure this is the best typ.
Roadguid.img and roaduig_mdr.img are part of Mapsource map version, dont touch them.

If you dont know how to use Mapsource read.

Ok, I'll try this. Also, how do you delete maps? I have the maps from the US and can't even use it here and I want to save space.

Advice - stored RG 1.24 as gmapprom.img which will remain as the full operational map for your country.
Southeast Asia Cn 6.5 as gmapsupp.img where it can be turned off when not required.
In this case, what will happen if both maps are turned ON and you are driving at the same spot? Which map will the device use?

some of the POI's are misleading in the southeast asia map ver 6.5, for example when I search all foods, some results are hollow block maker, church of ect.,

for me I use only southeast asia map ver 6.5 as my secondary map

Yes but actually what I'm asking is about the advantages and disadvantages of turining both the southeast asia map 6.5 and roadguide 1.24, what will happen? Will they be in conflict with each other?

You cant have 2 routable maps active, covering the same area.

    The result could be:
1 or, one map wont show up
2 or, maps wont display correctly
3 or, nuvi will act strange
Solution : deselect in your Nuvi the map you'r not using
