Hi i've got nuvi660 bit oldi but still works ok. On main memory have map CNAuNZ 2012.1 an try to add on SD card CNEu2012.10. Downloaded MapSource unlocked with "unlock_mapset.exe" with no errors all went fine. Created custom map cut out Eastern country and Island so the whole can fit on 2GB card. Took little while to do it , but eventually
success ! All works perfect. So I decided to create full map on 4GB SD card , took little bit longer MapSource program ver. 6.16.1 did not complain said successful transfer to SD card
map are visible in my nuvi under /system/maps/info but can't select any address from this map ? As I said both maps (images) been created from the same ma source one works ok
the other not ? , about 300MB difference in size. Question: what max map size image nuvi 660 can accept ?

Most probably be 2 Gb or 2097152 byte in one gmapxxxx.img container! But you may devide all Europe on two files by Mapsource installation, one for Nuvi and another for SD - it work fine. For example Nordics country to Nuvi and even you change SD to Aus&NZ you can always see my cold lovely places if you to be languid with the heat.

with the previous 2011.40, the nuvi 37xx had D2504030A.JCV

    Anyone can confirm?
So what is the D2666030A.JCV posted by Lolypop000? It didn't work on my nuvi 1390T (blank white screen whenever a junction comes up, frequent crashes/reboots)

I then tried the D3084010A.JCV posted by Andy, it works fine .
EDIT: D2504040A.JCV also working on the 1390T, although makes it a bit slower to display

    I don't know what i do wrong.

I am working with the img file
    I ran the application ( Fast IMG Unlocker v.2.1 update 12-4-2011) , I browsed the gmapprom.img file.
It counted from 5 tot 1 and when the message dissapeared gmapprom.img was gone aswell?
It's like it just dissapeared out of my map.

does anyone know what i am doing wrong?

I tried to simply drag&drop but it does the same thing.
The program starts running, and shows a timer 5 4 3 2 1 and then program stops running but the file is gone.

I assume it places the unlocked file in the same map?
The program only runs for like 10seconds.

the locked img file is 2.3gb

    the gmaptool isn't working,
I downloaded it and tried to install but at the end it gives an error that I don't have the authority to change a filename in that directory.
Even when I ran the setup as administrator
