Hopefully the 2012.10 map will be released soon.

    Hi guys,

I just had a bit of a hellish time trying to figure out why despite doing everything right were no maps being displayed in the mapsource. So, in case anyone is having the same problem, you need to go to the view menu and uncheck "base map only" and then scroll to "switch to product" and select the map you want to be displayed in the mapsource, which in this case would be "CityNavigator North America NT 2011.40."

    Cheers.

Just to point out, not everyone may have to uncheck the basemap before selecting the detail map. I know that when I installed 2011.40 the end result was having neither map appear on screen. I had to switch products to 2011.40 and I was good to go.

I have Europe into main memory of my 1490 with JCV inside JCV folder. Now I loaded North America into memory card. I created a JCV foder in the memory card but I do not see JCV pictures. Is it correct or I need to put NA JCV file into the JCV folder in main memory ?

    Hi there.

I have read the whole topic and the CN EUR2012 topic several times and could not find a similar problem... If anyone could help, I would appreciate.

    Scenario (765T):

Main Memory: CN NA NT2010.40 + 3D (downloaded free map update from Garmin).
SD Card: CN NA NT2011.40 + 3D (downloaded from post 1) for testing prior to definite update.

Problem: the map works but the 3D map does not show up in Map Info and does not work.

I have unlocked both with Fast IMG Unl 2.1 (twice in the case of the 3D files) and the FIU identifies correctly both IMG, which means they are the correct files.

I have already de-selected the older map (2010.40) in map settings to avoid confusions.

I have the exact same problem with CN EUR 2012.10 (the 3D files do not show up at Map Info and do not work)

Please, does anyone have any clues?

PS: If I leave the 2010.40 3D "marked" on MapInfo, I see the 3D images (must be from the old map, 2010.40, of course)
