You cant have in gps enabled routable maps covering the same area, you must enable only the one you're using or they overlap and can cause problems.
City xplorers in nuvi 200 have the same functionality than CN India, so are useless if you already have CN.
Cx just give in compatible devices (nuvi200 is not)public transports and Enhanced pedestrian navigation.
    see picture below:
    cityXplorer matrix
Basemap is needed in every Nuvi and should be preloaded, if not ,use Webupdater and get it.
In nuvi 200 you can have more than one map. Update your firmware and read this post n18

Thanks a lot catymag for the support and explaining the differnce between CX and CN maps as i was not very sure about that as well.

As far as the BaseMap goes i dont have any gmapbmap.img in my device i assume i deleted it mistakenly in past. Now i have kind of solved the issue by doing this.

    - MMI 7.0 Map goes to device with name of gmapprom.img
    - CX Bangalore goes to device with name of gmapsupp.imp
    and
    - CX Delhi goes to SD Card with name of gmapsupp.imp

Now they all show up fine and also work although i have not noticed any improvement in details, but as you explained if i have the CN India then other are useless i will remove them and will have the following sturcture on the device.

    - MMI 7.0 Map goes to device with name of gmapprom.img
    - CN India 2012.30 on Device or SD Card (as space allows) with the name of gmapsupp.imp

But i dont know if i should still have the Basemap or not. Also i read through the links you mentioned and tried the WW BaseMap 5 but it was .exe and after extraction i got so many files which i could not take as .img.

Now again 2 questions to you, please:

    - Is the setup i am planning to use correct or naming should be something else ?
    - Is it compulsory to have WW Base map, (keep in mind that i will only be using it in India, not outside) if yes then how i can i make exe to img.

Once again thanks a lot for the help.

    Regards

    1) use Winrar and click with dx of mouse (on part1 ) and choice Extract here....
    2) unlock file (gmapsupp.img result of extracting)
    3) copy file gmapsupp.img unlocked in to folder Garmin (or CustomMaps) of SD
    4) test....
    5) read [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

The Image File must be saved in the Folder \Garmin\ on the SD-Card.

    EDIT Roger1109 was faster :-(

    Hi Catymag,
I downloaded part1 and part2 files (MapmyIndia_Garmin_V7) and joined those to a single file. I have Garmin NUVI 260 device and computer with windows7 64 bytes OS.
Could you please let me know in steps that I need to follow to install that downloaded map into my Garmin device to use it in India?
    Thanks in Advance.

Unlock with gimgunlock, rename the .img as gmapsupp.img and copy in a Garmin folder in sd, if you have other gmapsupp.img rename India one as gmapsup1.img
